Guidance for Technical Visit II (Apr. 25)

Please move to the AMARYS registration site (https://amarys-jtb.jp/wotz2024/) and choose your visiting course on April 25 (Thu).

* The cost of Technical Tour II and lunch on April 25 (Thu) is included in the registration fee.

** The participants who will attend the "Hydrangea workshop" need to choose Course B.

** Adachi Museum of Art will mercifully provide a special occasion for interviewing the professional gardener during this visit for WOTZ2024.

2.    Tottori Flower Gallery (Hanakairou), a large flower park in neighboring Tottori Prefecture (110 Tsuruta, Nanbu-cho, Saihaku-gun, Tottori)   https://www.tottorihanakairou.or.jp/en/
     * We have Lunch (provided) at the restaurant in this flower park.

3.    Kotobuki Castle, a confectionary theme park of local sweets. (1605-1 Sada, Yodoe-cho, Yonago-shi, Tottori)  https://www.kotobukijo.jp/en/

   Course A will return to JR Matsue Sation around 5:30 p.m. via Yonago Airport (YGJ). The members who will board a plane to Tokyo (Haneda, HND) may get off at YGJ. The members who will use Izumo Airport (IZO) need to go to JR Matsue Sation and take a shuttle bus to IZO from Matsue.

Destinations

1.    Production farmers of potted Hydrangea in the Izumo Plain

2.    Izumo Taisha Grand Shrine, One of the most important Shinto Shrines in Japan (195 Kizukihigashi, Taisha-cho, Izumo-shi) https://www.japan-guide.com/e/e5804.html

* We will have Lunch (provided) somewhere near this place (under consideration). The lunch menu is also under consideration in Japanese food (Washoku).

-- Course B' (Hydrangea workshop) --
Destinations
1.    Production farmers of potted Hydrangea in the Izumo Plain

2.    Shimane Prefectural Agricultural Technology Center

* We will provide a lunch box (under consideration).

  Course B' is a branching from Course B. This course is a kind of workshop specialized in Hydrangea research at Shimane Prefectural Agricultural Technology Center. The maximum group size for the Course B’ is 15 persons. We may rearrange this course based on the number of requests.   Course B and B' will rejoin and return to JR Matsue Station via Izumo Airport (IZO) around 5:30 p.m. The members who will board a plane to Tokyo may get off at IZO. The members who will use Yonago Airport (YGJ) need to go to JR Matsue Sation and take a shuttle bus to YGJ from Matsue.
