In Japan, a serious earthquake hit the Noto peninsular on New Year's Day. We would like to express our sympathies to the many people affected by the disaster and thank our international participants for their condolences.
Fortunately, Matsue City, the venue of WOTZ2024, has not been affected by the earthquake. We will organize the symposium as scheduled.
We look forward to seeing more international participants in Matsue from April 21 to 25, 2024.
The Noto region is also a traditional area where historical old trees of Kirishima azalea are accumulated and cultivated, and we will introduce those attraction at this symposium.
